21-20 Huskies. But I'm slightly pulling for Boise.

That article hits on some great critical points of this game. 72000+ mostly UW fans in the new stadium will make it extra deafening for BSU. Home field will be big for this one.

Plus that Dline for BSU is looking suspect. UW has a healthy RB corps this year. Unleash Sankey and Wooching on that Dline all game long.

Pleasant thoughts, Wazzu. See what uncontrolled hate of your coach can lead to?

Home field will be really big, UW always plays good at home.
Im not sure what to expect out of our D-Line this year we lost some key players.
I think the key to the game lays on Keith Price if he shows or not.

Ok fine, the terrorists can kill 74,001 with Mike Leach scouting some UW or BSU players to illegally recruit with his gimmicky shitty offense. Leach could've made Bledsoe and Leaf look like trash. Leach is a racist so Thompson would've sat the bench the whole time.

The handful of tickets given to Boise are in the nose bleed sections, so it will be loud and hostile. Probably as loud as Atlanta, until Aaron Murray got sacked 6 times, and Kellen Moore started picking them apart like a surgeon. Then they started booing. Probably as loud as DC when the VT Hokie fans literally shook the earth. Until Boise put 14 on them in the first two series. Autzen in Eugene was loud too. But they were booing their own team by the 3rd quarter as well.

We'll see if Huskey fans are classier than their foes to the South. We'll see if this team has found the identity those other teams had. I'll be there, loud and proud, that's all I can say.

I agree, Boise has some big holes to fill on defense. But the offense is looking very sharp, lots of talent in every position. Will it be enough? I suspect that Boise will work on the crowd noise big time.

The best feeling on earth is to witness that raucous crowd turn silent when the other team scores. Don't count the Broncos out quite yet.

Or as quiet, smilesid, as #4 Boise fans when #19 Nevada kicked the winning field goal?

:suds:

It looks more likely tonight than it did Wednesday or Thursday that Austin Seferian-Jenkins will be healthy enough for the Huskies’ Aug. 31 opener against Boise State.

Coach Steve Sarkisian gave an “encouraging” (to use his word) summary of his record-setting tight end’s surgery Thursday to repair a broken pinkie finger on his right hand.

"Just as we thought from the X-ray, it was a clean break," Sarkisian said following Friday evening’s shorter, second of two practices. "They inserted the pin in his pinkie. And now the rehab process is under way."

Doctors found no ligament damage or any other complication beyond the broken digit.

"Which is really good. It was encouraging," Sarkisian said. "There was nothing with the knuckle. It was right on the pinkie."

Quarterback Keith Price says it will take more than a broken little finger to keep his huge throwing targer from being healthy enough to play in 15 days.

"Yeah, I know he’ll be back. He’ll be back (for Boise State)," Price said. "He just told me today: ‘Hey, man, I could play today if I really wanted to.’

It amazes me that everyone ignores the fact we have already seen this game. Didn't BSU come into UW during the time the team was falling apart and beat them anyway? I believe it was the year before the 0-12 season and after beating BSU they lost some pretty pathetic games. Why would any UW fan even be remotely worried about this game given the history and the distinct advantages they now have?

I love bringing up what Moore did. He is gone and no one believes their current QB is anywhere near as good. As much as people are hanging this game on Price, it would seem it would hang every bit as much, if not more, on Southwick. Price is playing at home and all of the energy will be with him. Southwick is starting in the most hostile environment he has ever faced. Who is more likely to have problems that day?

This scares me a bit because not gonna lie, I thought of this. I am overly paranoid so what I'm saying is probably ridiculous, but if someone wanted to smuggle in a bomb into a stadium, it is ridiculously easy. Honestly. Security is not good and there are no security procedures against this kind of thing. I've thought of it though. Football represents America and what better way to strike against this country. Like I said, I am overly paranoid, but I thought of this too...

It seems a bit ridiculous, but when you think of it, it isn't too far fetched. Thousands of people in a confined space and the $$$ amount of damage it would do is ridiculous. I'm honestly surprised a terrorist hasn't tried to bomb an NFL stadium yet. So many sick people out there and this has nothing to do with football, but my paranoid self is a bit worried.
