Geneh, they beat Pac 12 and Rose Bowl champion #6 Stanford and #19 Oregon State last season. I'm sorry but that is impressive. Give them some credit.

They also played #14 Boise State to the wire in the bowl game.

8-1 over what, 10 years? You can't cherry pick games across many years and attempt to say if they were all in the same year that this is what your team record would be. It doesn't work like that. What we know about BSU is they are prepared very well to play their 1-2 big games a year and spend the rest of their season playing teams that give nearly no challenge. It is a FAR different thing to do the opposite and play a couple of creampuffs and a whole conference full of big games. What would BSU's bowl record be if they had to go through the grind and injuries that come with a big time schedule? I would assume it would be worse as they would lose that advantage they have now of being able to be quite fresh that late in the year. That is called logic my friend.

Don't act like every AQ conf doesn't have its cream puffs. Every conferences have their traditional cream puffs and those on a temporary down cycle. So they do get at least a couple of easy W conference games per year.

Also, they are stuck in their conference due to NOT getting an AQ invite. So those mandatory conference games get in the way of a decent SOS.

BTW, BSU didn't breeze thru the MWC last year. They lost at home. To the mighy San Diego State Aztecs, known for all their big road wins vs. ranked teams. That last statement was sarcasm. lol

Utah Coach Whittingham said it best after his 1st year playing against real college football teams. The source was the Salt Lake City Deseret newspaper. He said, in effect, in the MWC, play a bad game versus a MWC pigeon, Utah still wins. Not decisively. Don't cover. But Utah wins. In the PAC, have a bad week versus a PAC12 pigeon - Utah or any other team loses. WAZZU versus Washington in 2012 for example.

MWC pigeons are not the same as PAC pigeons.

UW won't be world killers no matter what the outcome of this game is. While BSU goes off to play mostly HS level teams UW has Arizona, @Stanford, Oregon, @UCLA, @Arizone State, and @Oregon State just to touch on the bigger games. What would BSU do against that? They wouldn't run that table and I really doubt anyone would argue with that. UW has almost no chance to reach 9 regular season wins even if they beat BSU. Those 4 road games would be difficult for nearly every team in the country.

I will address 2 of your points,.....

You said "almost never" and "it just doesn't happen".... Which is it, almost never , or it just doesn't happen?, ....and we are not any kind of movie you have ever seen before, let the record show that Boise has done things no one else has been able to do in "our" situation as fast or for this long on our budget with essentially 3 star or less recruiting, minimal tv exposure relative to any AQ and garner a such a national following.
Secondly, I'll address your "High school level" comment, Yes we have a Tennesse Martin this year but you have an Idaho State . We can compare schedules and I would concede that a PAC schedule carries a better SOS almost completely across the board but I emphatically disagree on the HS comment. You can attempt an insult at BSU here if you feel you need to but you are also insulting a lot more than just us, We schedule who we can and who will agree to play us. Most of that is out of our (Boise St.'s) hands being a mid major... In time, if we don't get locked out from the latest evolution of CFB, you would see Boise State to continue to attract better and better competition. This latest HnH with UW is a perfect example and I am super excited to see two of my favorite teams face off again, but takes time and no one is going to let us just take a shot at your Alabama's or tOSU's , ...not only do we have to be perfect, we gotta be real lucky too just to get a shot at a BCS bowl game much less another shot at a top tier AQ. So we play the schedule in front of us, and when we do get a shot to play an AQ..... we have done our best to make it count!

No you haven't seen this movie before Wiz....you can thumb your nose at us if you want .... we are 1-1 on the field of play and it's gonna be 2-1 come Sept. 1st!. Just an FYI and I think it pertains to what the other BSU fans are implying....
You posed a question about BSU players suspended for DUI's.... There is one player recently dismissed from the team...Dismissed!, not suspended, not for DUI, not for breaking any law for underage drinking but he was dismissed for team rules violation, for ..."Drinking"... sorry but "I" cannot be specific on this subject.

How you can take making excuses out of that post is beyond me.

I said they were terrible on the road, inconsistent in every game (even the upset wins), and had no excuses for losing to WSU given that their young kids had half a season under their belt. How is that making excuses?

I'd say stop being so bloody blind and just face the facts. Big time injuries were a part of last years story for UW. Not my fault if you don't like the truth.

As for the charges against ASJ, I was just pointing out to several of your base that were already calling Sark names before we even know what he is going to do that their claims of kids being thrown off the team or suspended for an entire season for a first offense are bullshit because there is no record of it that I can find. The only example I found of a DUI by a player on the team was suspended for 3 games, but he also fled the scene of his accident which adds a whole new level to the crime. I've said clearly I think ASJ should be suspended for at least one game and I'd be fine with 3 games. I'm not trying to suggest he doesn't deserve anything, but when your fans are going to call names and make claims it should be based on facts shouldn't it? Just saying.

That is more of a cut to Stanford and OSU than it is a kudos to UW. Especially Stanford, which is why Stanford never gets to play in a NCG.

They also played #14 Boise State to the wire in the bowl game.

Awesome looking stadium. Renovation or new one at new location? Anyway, hard for me not to go with BSU, just on past experience and not being intimidated. But, it may just be the year UW makes a move up. It would be cool to go to that stadium for a game.

The reason you cannot find anything is that it was not reported as such, just a dismissal... as for anyone refuting my points, they are my own and I cannot speak for anyone else... I however try my best to post things I know I can back up with evidence or am nearly 100% positive that is correct..but I don't expect everyone to agree with me.... I hated the BEast move and called it a bad Idea when announced and was out voted then...... I am in a unique position here today, as I am a Husky "friend" for 20 years and BSU alum in the south Seattle area which make this kinda awkward..... kinda like growing up in Tulsa,being a sooner fan as a kid and attending Boise State as an adult.... try to explain that during the 07 fiesta LOL!

My opinion on ASJ 's punishment is irrelevant but I prefer to see my Bronco's play a full Dawg team and win or lose an honest road game than to get a gimme win vs a skeleton squad.

Geneh, what in the Hell are you talking about? Stanford was fucking good last year. They went into Autzen Stadium and beat a team that finished 2nd on the nation and held that high powered offense to 14 points in regulation and overtime! Stanford has won two out of their last three BCS games in three seasons and barely lost the other one to #3 Oklahoma State in overtime cuz their freshman kicker choked. They are preseason #4 in the country. Are you kidding me? They are very much a national championship contender. And Washington was the only Pac 12 team that could beat them last year. I don't care what you say that is an incredibly impressive win.

If you really want me to rehash the same tired arguments about BSU's place in college football I will, but I assure you there are hundreds of pages out there on it already and I know no one else wants to read more of it.

Should be a great game, I still think Boise is an underdog on the road, opening the new crib, with every UW fan wanting revenge. The only thing that gives Boise a chance is that they've done this before, walk into hostile territory. I found it most interesting that UW offered less than a third the number of tickets to Boise that they did last time. Interesting, I suspect that not many seats will be available in Boise, if and when the Huskies actually come. I am looking forward to that game as well.

Why would you be shocked at less tickets on a grand opening? I mean they would offer whatever they thought they wouldn't sell normally, but wouldn't you expect a very high local demand for a game like this? I'm sure there was nothing more sinister than that in the allotment.

I had no problems with the BSU fans the last time they came. There are few fan bases that have been really bad. Pretty much reserve that designation for the zero nation. I probably won't be tailgating for this one as I'm meeting a bunch of my family at the game, but if I do I'll be sharing a beer or three with BSU fans for sure.

The mindless drivel that goes on and on about what "everyone else" thinks about my Bronco's does not interest me. I have heard it all before hundreds of times ..... and for every BSU fan there are 100's of naysayers, I didn't just fall off the tater truck wiz, I replied to your post which had it's own contradiction and an insult and I had hoped we could have a reasonable discussion.
