Craig Hoffman said after watching tape on Daniels, he noticed on some of those big runs, guys were wide open.

Said Daniels was sitting in a clean pocket and he was wondering why he hadn't thrown it on some plays because guys were wide open. Said he would just hold it and then take off for 30 and all anyone watching on TV would notice was the big run.

Even if you could get him for a 3rd, you should pass. You've got too high of a draft pick in a QB heavy draft to use (waste) a 3rd rd pick on Fields--a guy who will need a new contract in a year. I'll be amazed if he's not a backup QB by 2025.

The poor guy looked like a deer in headlights way too often. I know you want to avoid injury but the sudden reluctance to scramble was odd too. He had the media backing him and once you don't live up to their standard, you're done. I'd rather have JJ than fields at this point. JMO
