I understand they might be trying to take it easy on the true freshman QB, but it's worth noting that the Huskies are yet to attempt a pass more than 10 yards down the field.

Gotta mix things up, one of the things Browning did very well in HS was his accuracy on his deep throws. This is obviously a much higher level of competition, but one of Browning's strengths was his touch on those throws down the field.

with teams not being allowed to hit much in practice I expected a lot of offense early in the season. not sure if offenses r rusty or the qb play is just this bad

They can't let that same shit go on this year. The defense probably won't be able to keep them in games like they did last year. Maybe Petersen needs to take over play calling for a while or something... Something...

Another short pass. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you don't take a shot, the defense is gonna start jumping those passes.
