I get not having a feel for your team, but come on Smiles. This is setup to be a blood bath if your team is really worthy of a ranking given that we don't even know which of the 3 inexperienced QB's will be taking the first snap today and it's a home game for you. How many times does BSU get to open against a P5 team at home? Experience factor goes to BSU by a wide margin and while UW may have some better athletes here and there it doesn't mean much if they aren't all playing solid and that comes with experience. You should have a lot more confidence.

I have confidence in BSU, on paper we are the better team. But over the years I have learned to NEVER underestimate Coach Pete. I think it will be a close game.

I don't think it will make much of a difference.

I think the title is misleading as well. I'd be shocked if the fans don't give Petersen a standing ovation when he walks out. Every BSU fan I know (and I know a few that will be there) are all in his corner and ready to stand for him.

It's going to be a hell of a homecoming and sure to be emotional for him no matter what the outcome is, but hardly a nightmare. He's loved there.

I picked Boise State to win this one, but I expect it to be close. Washington and then next week BYU probably are the two toughest games on Boise State's schedule.

with how rusty some offenses looked yesterday I'm worried about ours with a new QB and RB

I'm only comfortable with a 10 point lead or more against Petersen, he has tricks up his sleeve and I don't want to know what they are.

This could be like when we hosted Oregon in 2009, ugly game with a score of something like 19-8

At home I give the edge to BSU (naturally). I am respectful of what Pete's teams are typically capable of.. He will almost certainly have his boys ready to play.

This is true sir, but I honestly don't think this game will really indicate how the seasons will go for these teams since both coaches know each other so well.

I do agree that with what you guys have right now it would take one of Petersen's best coaching jobs to get you to a bowl.
