Was This Whole Deflategate An Attempt to Ban Belichek?

Over the past few days, I've heard repeatedly that the NFL went through the hoops at the AFC Championship Game in an effort to catch Bill Belichek doing something wrong. According to multiple people, he could be banned from the NFL for life if he ever does anything illegal again. This is supposedly based on his punishment from Spygate.

The big problem is that BB wasn't involved. Ted Wells totally exonerated him and it put Goodell and his minions in a corner. In order not to look like total assholes, they tried to go after Brady.

The more that this is discussed, the more sense it all makes.

I was always in the mindset that Kraft stated if BB did anything like this again, he would be gone. I am sure there are plenty of people who hate BB and want him gone, so yeah....I can see this. I know when this all came out I blamed BB for this and was all set with him. NFL needed to punish someone, so why not the QB. Maybe they are doing this to get back at BB? IDK, but they fucked up!

I never looked at that angle but I suppose Goofy could be vindictive enough to try something like that.
Maybe he is buds with Kraft and when BB isn't around Goofy bad mouths him to Kraft. Asks Kraft to do something about BB's smug ways like the injury report, always finding loop holes in the rules, requesting rule changes and then of course his imfamous pressers. To which Kraft probably replies he isn't doing anything illegal, so why would I ask him to stop?

plenty of hate AND JEALOUSY that lesser people can't handle BB's success. they probably thought this would be one way to have him gone. but it backfired big time.
