All I saw was the high lights of the game and they showed a few times that Harvin ran down the sidelines and clearly stepped out of bounds. Was there ever an explanation as to why this was allowed? Did that view not get shown when the play was reviewed? Dont they review all touchdown plays? How could this not be seen?

There was no explanation. We all are wondering the same thing. Also wondering why it wasn't challenged.

I think it's a penalty to throw the challenge flag on a scoring play. At least it used to be...

All scoring plays are to be reviewed. Someone in NY was definitely asleep at the switch. I suspect there will be a news release from the league saying they fucked up.

Yea, that one was a head scratcher. At least it didn't cost the Chargers a win.

If it was my team, I would just have some scrub assistant coach fake a heart attack on the field so they would have enough time to review it. If you are gonna make a bogus rule that they can't challenge because it is a scoring play, then you are gonna have to sit through a 15 minute fake CPR session.

I actually wish it would of been reversed. Get the offense back on the field to run the damn ball with lynch......SD had the ball for like 28 of the 30 minutes in the first half.

Yeah there was. Completely inept officials. Seems to be a trend lately.

I was simply wondering why the official right there pointed to the spot as if he had stepped out. Didn't seem like he thought Harvin was in.

And one other thing, when Dago got the ball back with 1:45 or so, Rivers took a knee on the first play. Seattle had no time outs left and nobody was injured yet the clock stopped? It actually ran down to 1:43 but was put back to 1:45?

It only continues running after Rivers' second knee when the Seahawk hit him because he was trying to waste some additional time.

That confused me too.
