According to the Chronicle.

But it sounds like they really want to go to San Francisco and build on their own.

Warriors looking at Piers 30 and 32

For those of you wanting a visual, Piers 30 and 32 is that empty parking lot where Red's Java House is located a few blocks from at&t Park. It's the first Pier after you cross under the Bay Bridge heading toward Teh Phone Booth from BART.

There is no doubt about that. There are a few piers that use their buildings for parking, but that is 1,500-2,000 spots at most. The closest garage is down by Pier 39.

Most of the fans would have to come in via BART or CalTrain and walk to the arena. I know I would never drive into the City to watch a game if the arena gets built there.

i have to say i do like the free parking at the current location...i have some secret spots...

but this location would force most people to take BART, would be a good boost for the transit system and help alleviate traffic for sure. i am all for that.
