I read a week or 2 ago that he and Derek Trucks are no longer going to play with the Allman Bros.....but they'll still be doing all their other side projects.

Awesome musician......and a perfect blues voice to boot. Just about everyone laughs when I say it but I think he might have been a better member of the Allman Brothers than Duane Allman!
Have to say I just watched a live show of his last week on the Palladia channel and it was a bit boring.....he's getting a little older, isn't quite the dynamic guitar player he was back in the day. Seems to happen to just about everyone unfortunately (IMO the only older guitarist that really rips it up is Alex Lifeson in Rush)
