Your not going to win this battle with him, Ware is the guy he loves to hate no matter what. Ware is no longer an elite player I think we all understand that, but for some reason Blue just ignores the ball park 120 sacks and countless qb pressures and drawn double teams Ware has accounted for. I once thought Ware was a 1st ballet HOFer I'll back of on that, but he's still a no doubt HOFer.

I think jerry will do what he always does. Manipulate the cap to field the most competitive team possible. Jerry rides the romocoaster and the window is now. jerry will never rebuild...he'll always push to be viable again. It remains all about Jerry's perceived NFL legacy as only he see's it and it's been this way for a very long time. Jerry did it...he is the Dallas Cowboys and the brand has never been more tarnished.

Wouldn't the cap hit be the same if we cut him as it would if we traded him? There has to be someone out there that would give up something to get Ware, even the current version of Ware.

The current version of Ware on a good team with a solid D line that could be in need of a pass rush specialist would be a very good fit. As long as he's not being relied upon to do the heavy lifting he still has a lot left to offer. He's just no longer the one man show that could blow up the backfield on every single play.

He said if Ware thinks the Cowboys are going to renegotiate his contract, he's sadly mistaken. He either takes a pay cut or they cut him. This may turn out to be another Doug Free situation.

I heard that yesterday and then again today. They can save a little over 7 million against the cap by letting him walk.

All of the the great ones seem to fade after 30. Ware is no different. I think sticking with this 4 man front is retarded given the current roster. All we have is a bunch of scrubs and an injury prone ware to count on next season? You don't replenish the DL in one draft,especially this draft. I don't see many difference makers at dt in the upcoming draft

Parcells couldn't do it in a year when he switch to a 3-4 ...... Stop expecting crazy shit in one year.

And with all you said about our D-line ... we were all of 2 points and a back up Qb from sweeping the division and being in the playoffs.... WHILE UNDER the 1st year of a switch.

3-5 very solid defensive tackles in our range of the first two rounds of the draft that could be day one starters. As well as a couple of safeties ......

Then give him an extention on his contract. Doesn't matter we are going to be bad for a long time anyway. I just think we could do a lot better for the amount of money he is being paid vs. the lame results we have gotten from him.
