We have to go sign a couple of CBs this week. And Zimmer needs to sit down with Dre and tell him to stop being a pussy and start playing and playing like he has some sense.

Or continues to throw games away to the other team like he has done the last 3 years.

Sure, he "can" make all the throws, and can throw for some yards, but he is not smart enough to check down to an open WR, because he believes in his arm a little too much. That is the benefit of Dalton, he knows his arm sucks, but can make any of the passes needed under 30 yards no problem. But since the strength is not there, he actually checks down to an open guy most of the time.

I would like a big strong QB like Palmer, with the intelligence and leadership of Manning with the speed of Colin Kaepernick, but perfect QB's are kinda rare.

I would love to have Peterson, but it would be an AJ Green that it would take to get Peterson.

You could always "maybe" offer something like our next two 1st round picks along with a conditional 3rd pick next year, that if he makes the probowl, that pick could be a 2nd rounder, and if not, a 3rd rounder.

Hopefully we keep making the playoffs and doing well and they get stuck with lower 20's for those 1sts, and we get a legit young CB who can return kicks as well.

That is too good to be true though. Cardinals would have to consider themselves done for the season before doing that though. And while they will probably only be shooting for 3rd at best in that division, they do not have a bad record and not far out of first right now.

I thought Dalton was awesome today. He finally did what we've been doubting all along he could do. And I am willing to bet that PFF will grade him well.

He had all day to throw and made the standard throws. He's horrific beyond 11 yards and always will be.

You just can't give him credit when he deserves it. Today he was very accurate downfield, and made aggressive decisions which worked. You're never satisfied. You're also quite probably drunk.

I've never thought his problems were physical. I think his arm is plenty strong enough to be successful. His main problem to me is he lacks confidence to throw it downfield accurately. He finally showed himself today that he can. Hopefully he will remember today, and keep it up.

Sheldon Brown fits the profile. Former high-round pick that was thought to be broken down and too old..... Zimmer might get something out of him.

Is he ill-tempered?

He doesn't appear to have a criminal record which might make him less appealing. But I'm sure he likes strippers and PacMan can teach him.

You totally missed my Austin Powers reference. It was on cable the other night.
