I like your beard.
in 1st so far racing dad's number for the last time. i'm no racing fan, but that'd be an awesome sight if he can pull this off.
that's an awesome awesome awesome moment. teared up. not gonna lie. i remember the crash...my dad (parents lived in daytona, so he had decent interest in racing) was a dale fan. he was crushed when he died.
Nice story but I always liked Tony (smoke) Stewart. I did like DE sr though.
DerringerEagle?
Dale was my favorite for sure. they'll never be another like him. Tonight was an awesome moment. R.I.P. Dale Earnhardt
No, He doesn't like me anymore.
i'm still amazed that he was killed in that crash...it just seemed so innocent. if anything 'good' came from it, it was the hahn (sp?) device that i'm sure has saved many others lives.
This guy and his friend don't like you either. They are wanted men on 12 other message boards.
Well that device was around then but it wasn't mandatory and Dale refused to use it. He thought it was for sissies if you can believe that. It's a shame too, he would have survived that crash had he been using it
NASCAR also made the use of the HANS device mandatory in all cars following Earnhardt's death. Until that point, use of the HANS device was optional, at the discretion of the drivers or teams. Earnhardt had refused to wear the device, arguing it was uncomfortable and ineffective. He was not using a HANS device on the day he died of a Basilar skull fracture, which is what the HANS device is designed to prevent.
