I think it's safe to say we failed the "Baylor" test. Still. A wins a win.

I was hearing on the radio that Stoops was really pissed about the Baylor Coach on the sideline. I have a huge problem with it and am not surprised. Baylor is known to bend to rules, and claim innocent. Screw Baylor and their r*pe university. Some folks play it off or say the guy was there to see friends or what ever but he was wearing Tulsa Coaching uniform, and never before have we heard about this because this is something you just don't go.

IMO...the guy isn't a fan he is a coach and will notice habits on whether it be in the game or on the sideline. If you are a financial adviser and you are at a wedding, and overhear someone discussing stocks you are going to notice, or is you invite your buddy who is in construction over to a house warming party....he is going to notice stuff others won't.

I still think it's funny Mike had no idea about Tulsa's last touchdown right before halftime on his elevator ride down.

Truth is, Mbanasor was in position most times, but lacked the timing and instincts on when to turn and look for the ball

Honestly, there isn't anyone in the defensive backfield that turns and looks for the ball. Ever it seems.

One of the contributors on that site made an interesting point. If we're gonna try and bring the heat with the front 5-7 and play man, then let's get all our cover guys on the field since the safeties won't have any run responsibilities anyways.

Defense did look bad for a good part of the game, but the 2 fumbles totally changed a blowout to a ballgame again.

How the Young Defensive Back Fared | OU vs. Tulsa | The Football Brainiacs - OU Edition

Excellent write up on Mbanasor's performance Saturday. Truth is, Mbanasor was in position most times, but lacked the timing and instincts on when to turn and look for the ball. Also, really good analysis on the defensive calls mike stoops was throwing out there.

That is an awesome write up. Super K does a great job breaking down play's, and give hope toward the future. Many of the mistakes can be simple to fix. As easy as learning to shed your guy, or turning your head toward the football.

With these new spread offenses, I admit. I would hate to be d-cordinator.

It's wrong but I ain't mad. This coach has ties to OU. Couple that with the fact he is friends with Tulsa's HC. I don't think it was intentional but more on the side of ignorance about the bylaw. Now does that mean he wasn't taking mental notes? Of course not! He is a coach for Christ' sake! They are always taking notes.

Baylor has been kicking our ass lately. It's clearly rubbing some of us the wrong way. Me included.
