How did he do? I thought about watching since Von is on the show but then I kept saying "Well it is dancing with the stars." I will admit that I did watch "The Bachelor" for one season as I had an old high school buddy of mine on the show so had to see how he would do.

He did very good. 21 out of 30 I think the best was 23. Antonio Brown was good as well.
Thanks DC was wondering who the other guys were beside Ward.

This was the first episode I ever watched. My mom texted me to tell me he was on it, so I thought ahhh what the heck.

All jokes aside. Omar Bolden sitting to Von's right on the stage. He sends me a lot of snap chat photos as well and I can't lie but to say the dude has a great smile that lights up the room.

I also have noticed in talking to Omar and seeing photos with other Bronco players that current players seem to remain close with Duke Ihenacho.

I hate that show, but I tuned in as well. Great to see Von sporting a blue suit with an orange tie and pocket square. A true Bronco!!

I'm glad I got to see him but he's on his own for the rest of the season, as I can't stomach another episode of that God-awful program.

Yeah I have seen him communicate with a lot of the players. I can't stand him on Twitter though (Ihenacho that is). He spends a great deal of his time complaining about how much players get paid and how the NFL is this evil empire. He gets mad at any fan for suggesting otherwise. I understand the players are at the mercy of the owners on a lot of things but these guys do get paid very well for what they do and not sure any player is going to get a ton of sympathy from fans when most of us would only dream of making as much as they do in a year. I understand the whole physical toll the game takes on these guys and that they only have a short window to make their money but really a lot of these guys if they were even just a little bit smart with their money could make 3 year's worth of money pay for a lifetime. I mean either from being able to pay for a really nice education after football to then get a nice job or by saving it and realizing you don't have to live like a millionaire just because you are making millions.

Yeah never a fan of when players whine about money and other things with the NFL.

You can pick another profession if you would like.

I agree. I have days that I privately tell my wife that I don't always like my job but in the end I am still appreciative that I get to do what I love. If I went online and complained like he does I would be fired in a matter of minutes. They wouldn't even have to have a meeting to make that decision.

As for Ihenacho the player I wished we could have held onto him. I did think he was developing into a decent player but just cracked the more people took notice of him while in Denver. Just found himself out of place and not have the athleticism to recover. Needed another year on the practice squad in my opinion rather than being the starter.

I never really saw a lot in Nacho here like many others did.

He sorta had a great camp, and was a nice hitter, but his coverage skills are very weak. Once we signed TJ Ward it just didn't make a lot of sense to keep Nacho around. He had already lost his starting job from the prior year. I got a lot of flack when I predicted he wouldn't make it through our camp the following year, which he did not. I do like that he is still in the NFL though. But he has been injury prone now.

Oh I agree with your assessment of him. That is why I thought he needed another year on the Practice Squad more so than out there as a starter. Like you said his coverage skills were really lacking. I think from training camp and pre season he saw how excited the fans got at his big hits and he started trying to get the big hit every time and was easily faked by the play action hoping to hit the RB and leaving his side of the field wide open. QB's abused him the year he started. I guess the best analogy I can give is bringing up a promising young prospect from AAA and then watching them have their confidence shattered because they just were not ready for the jump.

That is what I love with what Elway has created here in Denver is especially on the defensive side of the ball he has given players the ability to have the time to grow in the system. They don't have to be an All-Star day 1. Look at Wolfe, Malik, and Sly for our DL this past year. Wolfe and Sly were being viewed as underachievers before this year and Malik had been used more as a rotational piece than a full-time starter. We then have a dominating DL. Roby is quickly emerging as a top Corner in this league and yet he is our 3rd Corner on the team. He might be the guy I am most excited to see his growth this year. I think he could have a huge year like a 6-7 interception type season.

I only caught it because I turned the channel a couple minutes early to catch Castle. Thankfully, they saved Von (the best) for last. Kids got talent.
