I am on the fence on Kelly.

On the one hand he has been a total knucklehead in the past and rarely does a tiger change his stripes.

On the other hand, maybe we need some Phillip Rivers attitude on our sideline and in our huddle. Tyrod and Logan were nice guys and great football ambassadors but they were also talented enough to command respect and accountability without yelling and screaming.

Yeah. It is one thing to disrespect the coaches and other players. You just can't do that and expect a good outcome.

Now... Being a fiery guy, cocky as hell (Manziel like), expecting nothing less than excellence... I think the offense could use someone like that. It rubs off on the other players and typically leads to everyone gives 110% on every play. This guy not only wants to beat you.. But beat you into the ground.

I hope we get him.

I don't agree at all with how Kelly acted at Clemson. Hopefully, he learned his lesson. But I agree that having a leader with some on the field attitude would be good for the offense. Our defense could use some attitude as well...miss Maddy.

Not to mention that he is more athletically gifted (in my opinion) that any QB currently on our roster .. Not as big as Durkin but throws a better ball. Maybe not as accurate as Ford but a little bigger and had wheels. Athletically he had fewer weak areas yuan put other QBs ... The attitude has to be channeled
