Lately, you seem awfully confident that he is going to flip Hohum.
His name is ho hum, after all...

Lol. I've been using this internet alias since 1998 right after VT lost to Temple based on this Frank Beamer quote....
"Sometimes I think when you get momentum early in a game you let up a bit," Virginia Tech Coach Frank Beamer said. "It looked like things were going our way and it was going to be a ho-hum day, and then we started to play ho-hum."
Beamer has to be drooling over a kicker that can tackle...
found this: Joey Slye | Kohl?s Football Kicking Camps, Punting Camps, and Snapping Camps
the stats don't blow you away, but it is high school... I'm sure Beamer has a couple things he can teach him.

The stats actually do impress me....compare those with the kicking stats of VT kickers the past two years!
"Avg KO distance: 65.52 yds, avg Hang time: 3.61 sec". I'd like to see a little more distance here, but it is an average. The fact that he can tackle would greatly help the kickoff coverage. Too many times do I see a kicker trotting along setting himself up to be out of the play so he avoids any contact.
