could be nice. what im getting at though is that he is 6'2 225 in high school, i could only imagine him getting up to around 250 in college. thats huge for a running back. sounds a lot more like a linebacker or defensive end, but we will see.

Just pure speculation here, but it's interesting that Shane Beamer tried switching Dominique Patterson to RB at 6'2", 236 until he injured an ankle. Maybe Shane is still trying to find that big power-back in the mold of Marcus Lattimore at USC-E and he thinks Wright might be that guy. If administered correctly, Wright's personalized S&C program may result in minimal weight gain while making him stronger and a bit faster.

That being said, BIG props to everyone on this board, great information and great dialogue that doesn't end in one or both of the parties being butt-hurt if people disagree.

I agree, this place is much better for message board discussion than any of the other Hokie sites. Probably because it's not well known and those who seriously enjoy recruiting are willing to take the time to look for it.

Also, TKP is a free site, much like us. I support the hell out of any free site that sticks its finger up to the pay places. Just my two cents.

I agree. TKP sometimes has some pretty good info.

I'm reading for fun, so it really doesn't make sense to pay for info, as early info amounts mostly to rumors -- when recruits commit it becomes news, and is reported in the mainstream media.

SportsHoopla has become my new favorite, but I'll look through other sites occasionally, and TKP has had some very organized and useful information on occasion.

That is definitely the kid from the "gingers do have souls" video. ESPN gave him the high rating because of his tenacity and intimidation tactics.

Coleman @ 9? and no Deon Clarke? I mean I like the top two haha, but otherwise I think they're doing a poor job

...and ya'll thought 247's rankings were way out of whack?? Dowrey and Prosise are proof that ESPN just tries to boost the big time football schools commits.

Heaven forbid we don't get one of the final 3, nobody should question the hustle our coaches are doing in these last few weeks. All have been visited, more than once, and have been put on high priority.

At this point it will feel like a disappointment if we don't land all 3.

No doubt!!! :thumb::clap2:

I think that we will see an uptick in recruiting going forward as well Shane has already started to change the philosophy and mindset of recruiting at Tech, and once Cornell gets going....look out.....

VT has been getting better every year, and offers quite a lot to these recruits. I'm looking forward to signing day, and to getting all three of these guys!!!

In the meantime, think positively, or go do something else.

They're good guys, and we can only hope they will do the right thing for themselves.

I am excited for the next few months. I look forward to the early commits for the 2013 class and who we land in the 2012.
