Seems like they mortgaged the future.
I think they gave up too much.
Reminds me of the stories I hear about GB giving way too much for John Hadl
Also, MN giving it all for Herschel.
I know that they were vets, but a lot [too much] was paid.
[Herschel was more productive than Hadl, for sure, but it still didn't lead to a championship]
I guess ATL reminds me most of Ditkas pick for NO of . . . can't even remember that freaks name! You know, the one who gave it all up to live on a beach smokin' dope, thinking it was a religious experience.
