Then of course sweeping the Kitties and Bears, and splitting with the Pack won't hurt either..

She is so awesome AP. Coming up on 8 months old....she is just a doll. been sleeping thru the night since 2 and a half months. She is very happy and chill. Only fussy when she's tired and hungry. I couldn't be happier.

Vikings at Texans: Aug. 30.

After trimming back to 53 players Friday night, the Minnesota Vikings continued to put the finishing touches on their regular-season roster Saturday.

The biggest move was the completion of a trade first reported Friday night: The Vikings acquired third-year cornerback A.J. Jefferson from the Arizona Cardinals for what is reported to be undisclosed draft picks.

Jefferson, who went undrafted but caught on with Arizona in 2010, started seven games for the Cardinals last season and had one interception.

The Vikings entered Saturday with the NFL's third-highest waiver priority, and they picked up rookie offensive lineman Mark Asper, who had been cut by the Buffalo Bills. Asper, who is 6-foot-6, 319 pounds, was a sixth-round draft pick out of the University of Oregon.

To make room for Jefferson and Asper, the Vikings waived offensive lineman Pat Brown and defensive back Zack Bowman.

Finally, the team added four of Friday night's cuts to its practice squad. Running Back Jordan Todman, offensive lineman Tyler Holmes, defensive lineman Chase Baker and defensive back Bobby Felder returned to the team. Todman rushed for 114 yards in the Vikings' preseason finale.
