Water getting in the joint then freezing is bad ju ju for concrete.

we don't use that anymore. Everything is hardwired.
Shrink tube is cheap. And the gop is just dielectric grease you can buy that cheap to in a tube. shouldn't need it with the shrink tube though.

It's nice for my trailer, The goop seals as it heats up, my neighbor gave me some a couple years ago. But now I'm almost out. Don't know where to buy it.

I would look at an auto store. I know they have the dielectric grease. And they should have shrink tubing.

They don't have it.
What ever is in there gets hard and seals around the wire insulation, keeps the snow and salt out.
I used to just use grease and butt connectors. The weight of the snow and slush would pull the wires apart eventually.

I'm pretty sure it's just dielectric grease. Same as the in Butt connectors. any auto stores should have it. As far as the shrink tubing that should seal it itself.

It's some sort of adhesive, normal shrink tube doesn't seal completely when you have two wires connecting to one. I've tried everything, but the marine grade shrink tube is by far the best.

sweet a new boss. It's always the same thing. Times are good now. Once the season starts, the jerks come back. I missed a bunch of the people, but I have no interest in going back. That's one messed up website.
