Vernon is a great kid who went to the High School that I coach at. He's humble, hard working, tenacious competitor. He is a proven leader who had to scratch and claw to get to where he's at today. He only had two offers out of HS despite putting up Madden numbers.

June Jones coached him at this game, and feels he has all the other tools besides height. I would trust Jones who has seen his share of passing QB's. In what round i don't know, but i'd draft him when value becomes high.

He would have to sit at least 1-2 years.

IF it pans out that way, not a BIG problem. But that is why you'd use a 4th on him, not a 1st.
