Wow. That's borderline reason to not be friends anymore.

I kind of wish I had been there to see it, but on the other hand I'm embarrassed just hearing about it.

If I had been the one taking a client out to a business dinner and they did that... I would have been so embarrassed I don't know how I would have reacted.

They didn't take my advice on food much at all. They actually never left the Venetian/Palazzo even once. My brother did take her to Yardbird on the first night on my reco, but apparently she hated it. My brother just did the cafe, room service, or Asian noodle house every day he said. The one time he did join the vendor for dinner was at Bouchon because i told him not to dare missing a free dinner there. He told me that his wife insisted on ordering off menu and actually told the waitress that nothing on the menu sounded good. So she ordered a grilled cheese sandwich.

For dinner at Bouchon.

Now I suddenly feel a lot better when she doesn't eat my cooking at family gatherings.

Did she dip it in ketchup, too? Ask for her milk in a sippy cup? Jesus.
