Maybe overall but I've watched them score first and almost immediately give up a tying goal far too many times.

Except this game doesn't count for that statistic. The game was still 0-0 at the start of the 3rd period. The Kings didn't score until early in the 3rd period. But they were able to hold on for the win. Not pretty but it was 2 points in 4-point game that puts the Canucks further back behind the Kings in the division.

True but it was early enough that I put it in the same vein.
Last year it seemed every time the Kings scored the other team got one within three minutes. So much that i wouldnt cheer a goal for three minutes

Well the guy who fills out the lineup card seems to see something that the fans aren't seeing. And he is the guy who counts. Sure he makes mistakes but then so does Doughty and this is only Muzzin's second full year in the NHL. I'm willing to give him a little leeway and apparently so is Sutter.

Not me, he isn't a 19 year old rookie. He will be 24 years old in less than a month and was an undrafted player. Lots of gems come from those piles, but so do a lot of duds.

Sutter actually isn't a fan of his - there is a great article on NHL.com that discussed Muzzin and his development and then a follow up on Mayor's Manor (I believe). If you read between the lines, Muzzin plays becaise Dumbo doesn't want to look like a dumbass, not because Sutter wants to play him.

Makes me feel better knowing that although it's obvious the mandate comes from over Sutter. We've seen over the years guys have played who shouldn't have under the Dumbo regime (Calder, Zeiler, etc.) so it doesn't surprise me one bit.
