jesus Kesler, has stopping at the hashmarks EVER worked?
you've got a top wristshot in the league. maybe use it?

exciting game, a bit of everything.
thought we deserved a better fate, and maybe three more powerplays.

Well, you got the 2 posts and 1 crossbar that the Pens hit. Plus the goofy goal that MAF gave up early on.

I'd say the Canucks getting 1 point was "better fate"

I believe he is statistically the best in he NHL but not for sure on that.

Mike Lange just said some goalie for the NY Rangers that is pretty good is a hair better than MAF in shootouts. I stand corrected.

yeah had some puckluck for sure - just though they carried more of the play.
and as mentioned - refs were a bit stingy on one side.

that seems to be a theme. 12 powerplays in the past 7 games.
for a high tempo, puck possession team that seems very low.

I keep looking for that section in the NHL rulebook that indicates penalties are to be handed out equally to both sides, but I've yet to find it.

:D

no but (and not just pointing to this game) when a team has the puck much of the time and plays a fast paced game, the opponent tends to spend some time chasing, holding, interfering, hooking, etc.
seeing it over and over again, especially on the roadtrip so far where the canucks actually HAVE been aggressive and causing the other teams to chase.

I'm not going into full whine yet, but it's starting to get on my nerves a bit the more it becomes a trend.

You obviously haven't read the "official" NHL rulebook. You know, the one Bettman keeps under his desk with his bottle of French wine. I believe the section on power play ratios was forwarded by Mario Lemieux.
