Nd receivers do not work to get open on scrambles. Every replay they all look like they are running at half speed

That’s what almost gave the game to FSU a couple of weeks ago with four 15 yard penalties on their final drive.

I just hate that it’ll take a few players to tackle just one guy. Sometimes I wonder about how much time they’re spending in the weight room.

So far, our passing game has been solid and other than that Perkins run, the Irish have keyed in on stopping our run game. Now we just need the defense to get their asses in gear, which a lot of the time, doesn’t occur until the second half.

Agreed. I’d keep doing that until ND changes their game plan, then start trying to run more. As the old saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
