And there you have it. What I would argue was a poor gamble (going for it on 4th and 1 - I thought they should have gone for the 3 points) pays off for the Utes.

Conversely, punting on 4th and 1 backfires on the Trojans. I think that will be the story of this game (baring a miracle finish by Southern Cal.) Helton will get lambasted for punting rather than going for it at the 35.
