NU's offense left little to be desired against good defenses last season. The O'line had the focus taken off of them by what was an even worse NU defense. Taylor Martinez took a lot of unfair blame for the lack of productivity. It all starts up front.

He was getting beat out in spring and fall practice by walk-ons who saw opportunity if they just worked a little harder than 4 star Mary.

He might have started more than 6 but he had an atrocious game @ Wiscy and rode the pine from there on. His dad freaked out on Bo when he got benched naturally. It's been a tense relationship apparently since that game. He didn't like the way his sons benching was handled. Make sure Muschamp knows the delicate flower that is Mary Tyler Moore needs to be benched in the kindest way possible or not at all.

He actually got "beat out" by Brent Qvale. A Junior who had never started a game up until this season.

Everything we heard before he left was that he was the 3rd option at tackle.

I think NU is about done with the prima donna's playing in the trenches. We're going back to the local in-state farm boys with work ethic. 8 of the 10 best O'linemen on the 94/95 teams were Nebraska kids.

Similar can be said about NU's O'linemen throughout the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Moore chose NU because he has family that played here in the glory years.

Thus the helicopter dad and the sense of entitlement as a four star.

As brasky mentioned, he also has a girlfriend back there in Florida that didn't like his decision to come to Nebraska and was apparently hounding him to come back. She was posting about it on her facebook.

Maybe now he'll put his issues behind and put forth the effort it takes to be successful.
