God damn. Read the original tweet,
"Text messages I have obtained, an exclusive interview w/the victim & other information I have learned shows Ohio State coach Urban Meyer knew in 2015 of domestic abuse allegations"
We've seen the texts and the interview and there is no proof yet that Urban knew of allegations, let alone that he knew for a fact that she had been abused.

The victim did nothing of the sorts. The interview on video suggests she told Urban's wife in 2015, who said she was "going to have to tell Urban".

I'll say this; if it's true that she refused to press charges against her husband, and is now giving pressers to discuss what she thinks Meyer may have know, she's just a limelight-seeking twat.

Jesus Christ. Yup. It's the abused girls' fault. Yikes man. Justifying wife abuse because your coach wins a lot of games. New low for OSU fans. Your coach did something terrible here, period. He did something wrong. Smith did something wrong. This woman coming forward now to shed light on their wrongdoings is not wrong.

Sounds more like a blackmail letter. "shows" not proves. What information? Spill it all and quit with the teasers

to the original twit

You're such a dumb fuck.

That's hardly what I said, or implied.

This kind of shit has been going on too long. I don't like Meyer for whatever reason, but the mob mentality of the press and public is getting ridiculous. He didn't cover up anything, he just decided it was not his place to make it public. You don't fire a guy for that.
True...and previously that was the common feeling. But plausible deniability won't fly with this type thing nowadays.

What did Meyer do that was terrible? If he was told then we can also assume he knew the police were called. What was the terrible part? That he kept the guy employed?

Unlawful discharge case, right there.

Not when you are in a position of public trust. You do anything that even begins to compromise that trust and you are no longer capable of doing your job.

I agree that it wasn't his place to make it public.

However, it WAS his place to deal with it. At the very least, he should have suspended him and forced him to get counseling, if not fire him.

Instead, he keeps it quiet, then lies when he's asked about it.
Yep. I've seen a whole lot of people fired for less due diligence than this.
