Shouldn't take as long to win a conference championship in the Pac-12 as it would in some other conferences.

Even Helton can win the PAC next season (he could fuck up too.lol) with the talent coming back. There were few seniors and many Freshmen and sophomores starting this season (the entire secondary). Slovis is dialed in ( three 400 yrd plus and 4 TDs games) and the receiving corps gets new studs who were waiting behind Pittman and Vaughns ( who should come back but might jump to the draft).
It wouldn't be elite , just good enough to win the PAC with Meyer in year one. By year two he could be a nightmare for the rest of the PAC and by year three playing with the big boys.
But I think its 50-50 they stick with Helton especially if they don't get some idea from Urbans agent that he's willing to take the job. If he does show interest then Clays gone.

The Pac is horrible now too which is why I think he could win it next year with the talent they have.

I meant win the Pac, not anything else. Not sure why the facepalm. Pac isn't that strong and I might like USC's chances even with Helton, more or less Meyer.
