So down here in AZ Walker threw 7 solid innings giving up just two runs. Then Rodney comes into the game in the ninth for the save, and in rollercoaster Rodney fashion he then blows it sending them into extras. One guy who hasn't been mentioned is Jason Vargas.

Vargas is 2nd in the AL in ERA at 2.62 and played in the All-Star game. He had injury issues in 2015-2016, but since being traded he has had a 3.56 ERA.

Kendrys Morales has played pretty well since leaving the Mariners as well, averaging 23 HRs 82 RBI with a .271/.335/.470 triple slash line per year since leaving the organization

I heard a interview w/ him recently and he felt like he was thrown into the fire too fast w/out good coaching... He mentioned that mentally he wasn't really ready for the trade that sent him to Seattle and that the coaching staff didn't really talk to him about it... Sounds like he was lost when he came here and the coaching staff didn't know how to connect w/ him...

Chris Taylor is now hitting .307/.381/.521 with the Dodgers with 11 HRs 40 RBIs 20 2Bs and 12 SB in 267 ABs. 3.2 WAR.

I'm very happy with Segura, but damn Chris Taylor is hitting well.
