Update on Ireland

Personally, I am not a big fan of Silver, so I dont make much of what he says until whatever he says is official one way or another - but anyway.

I know this will upset most of the fan base. But as I have said many of times this season - The man does deserve some credit for the guys who he did bring in here who have made an impact and improved over time.

I actually prefer only minimum change as I do believe that we're close I don't want them to blow the team up. I'd replace Sherman as the O needs a breath of fresh air and possibly Coyle. Let's see how Irelands draft picks turn out and if they bust from last year as well as this year then it would be time to move him.

I think this will require some homework - Something a lot of fans in this city are too lazy to do because they just prefer to place blame blinded. But it is worth trying to find out really who is the one that has final say on who gets drafted before actually placing blaming on Ireland or anyone else for that matter.

I think ultimately it's Irelands final call. Of course everyone has input but he pulls the trigger. Either way we can't say last year's draft is a bust yet it's too soon....

Injuries contributed to a couple of guys from our draft class to underperform or not play - So, it would be more than unfair to judge them so quick

Yes agreed. For all we know they could all pan out next season.
