Anyone know who is ultimately responsible for team depth charts? Scot? The Front Office? Seems absurd that there wouldn't be any input from the coaching staff.

they have duke as the starting SS with robinson and jarret as the back -ups

I came upon this info on Hogs Haven as a possible reason...

I seem to remember that the Redskins specifically do not involve the coaching staff in their preseason depth charts — it's a way to prevent revealing information on things they have not yet decided.

i am sure the coaches had either direct or indirect input on the depth chart even if SM published it
