Again, UNC needs to fix their shit and there won't be any confusion.

It seems like a waste of time. Why would anyone wanna click a link from 2012?

How many people are going to look at the date in the web address?

My wife has a college degree, I have a degree and an MBA, one of my daughters has a degree in engineering from an elite university (USA top 10) and an MBA from another elite school, and my other daughter has a degree from a directional state university. I can say without equivocation, none of us have ever had a class that did not actually meet.
Maybe others have, but this issue actually impacts the academic credibility of NC, which has historically had a high reputation. Who's to say that this is not an across the board, systemic university problem (other than the NC administration, that is). If I were an NC graduate, I would be livid at the administration for tainting my degree.

The tweet is from October 5th and from my recollection, it was just stating that the NCAA was set to announce UNC's penalties on a Friday.

Thank you!

Charlotte Observer: "The NCAA ignored a rule that could have punished UNC":

Charlotte Observer said:
But while the NCAA quietly removed 10.1(b), it added a provision requiring an institution to determine whether academic wrongdoing or fraud had occurred. Despite these rule changes coming after the UNC conduct had occurred, the NCAA applied this gaping new loophole to the UNC case and bemoaned the fact that it now had to find the university not guilty. UNC, having once deemed the classes academic wrongdoing and fraud, now claimed ownership of the classes and said they didn’t violate any UNC policies. The NCAA bought the argument, then claimed that it had little choice but to find there was no violation.
