ok let me refresh your memory. the University of Incarnate Word is based in San Antonio, its the oldest D-1 university(est 1881) in the city. UTSA(est 1969) is the second oldest d-1 school in SA. the Cardinals are in the Southland Conference. we've been in D-1 level since 2013. football team was formed in 2010 as a D-11 school, they are now in FCS level.
