How about Foreman? I honestly won't be surprised if McCaffery and Mixon are there when we pick.

I also won't be upset if we take Cook at 17. I will be disappointed if we take him with Reddick or Foster on the board.

2nd to 3rd round, and I think he MIGHT actually be the best fit for as far as what I want not named Fournette... but here is the kicker, he isnt a better all around fit for our offense. He is that battering ram, but wont be very useful in the passing game. And he lacks that big play waiting to happen aspect that Cook and actually McCaffery bring.

Mind you if we took him I would not be upset.

Some times you just see guys that will change the complexion of a team... I see this in Fournette, Cook, and even McCaffery.

My take on Reddick and Foster, yes they ill likely be good possibly great players. But I still think adding a game changing RB does more for the team as a whole. Like I have said, if we go ILB in the first, we have got to go D-line in the second... by the time the 3rd comes around I ddont think there is a RB better than what we already have on roster so I wouldnt wast a draft pick on the position at that point.

I dunno he can definitely catch the ball they just didn't throw to him much and he ran a 4.45 twice at his pro day the main thing he needs to work on is his pass blocking

D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas

This draft class is expected to be deep at the running back position. Guys like Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook and McCaffrey could all end up in the first round. Thanks to some increased stock from a stellar pro day, former Texas runner D'Onta Foreman could be right behind those guys.

Foreman isn't much of a receiver out of the backfield, but he is a hard-nosed, physical runner. He racked up 2,028 yards on the ground just last season and was rated 23rd overall among college running backs by Pro Football Focus for the season.

we have that in rob kelly we need another rb with differnt skill set cook has lights out break away speed and mccaffery is solid and would be deadly in passing game redzone nightmare think about this having mccaffery inside the 20

Dude, you are preaching to the Choir. I think if there, we need to take one of the likely game changing RBs at 17, I could go with Fournette, but he wont be there. I could go with Cook, he might not be there either. And McCaffery is growing on me, although I have some reservations about him (and no its not cause he is white). The only reason I wouldnt take Mixon at 17 is because you dont take a confirmed member of the slapahoe tribe that high in todays NFL climate.

Hell Foreman in the second wouldnt hurt my feelings, and I think he will be better than Kelly. But I also think Gruden would be predictable as hell with him because I doubt he would ever throw a pass in his direction if he didnt catch the first ten balls in practice.

As some have mentioned, if Reddick and Foster are gone, I'd be fine with McCaffery. Gio Bernard was looking like a beast when he came in the league. Matt Jones, has been awesome on screens and other short passes despite his size and wasted juke moves. CT will be either cut this year or not re-signed in '18 if this move took place.
I'm under the assumption Cook and McCaffery are virtually equal even in the passing game. So, with certain defensive players off the board, I'd live with a RB(not named mixon) at 17

If he plays well then I would be fine with The Redskins drafting him.
