IM willing to trust our scouting department until such time as they show they dont know what they are doing.

*This is something I have not been able to say since prior to Dan Snyder buying the team

Coleman has the size and he has played every spot on the line save for center. I dont know if he can be a day on LT, but IM cool if they think he can be the eventual guy.
Maybe Lucas has to start week 1 and by week 6 or 7 we get Coleman in there. Either way I fully expect our 2025 #1 pick to be a LT with Coleman sliding into LG.

Long as the year does not end with our starting QB hobbled, IM good. And yea I expect a LT is in the future, as well as a couple of young edge rushers.

I expect them to try and run the ball a lot this year. Robinson and Ekeler should be featured and much more dangerous with Jayden freezing the defense.

What Bienemy did to Sam last year was criminal.

Yea, that was a bit o the bullshit to try and sling it all over the park with a guy who was still learning and a suspect O-line.

Bienemy was tying to get a job instead of win games and develop a quarterback. The whole hire was a Hail Mary by Rivera.

I kinda got the feeling that once we got to 6 losses, they decided to tank. IM not sure if Bienemy thought he could still have an offense filled with empty passing stats and get an honest shot at the HC job here or somewhere else. But they fucked Sam Howell dry with no warning from loss six on.

Absolutely.....just glad Harris stepped in and didn't allow Ron to start Brissett. Ron was trying to finish his career above .500

If not for Harris and this dude.

We also need to have an understanding this is a real coaching staff. If there is a huge weakness, considering our new QBs strength, I would expect moving the pocket.
Or running the damn ball on occasion. I mean, we had the worst R/P ratio in the league, with a first year starter, and a suspect O-line.

Guess we will see. UDFA shouldn't be expected to get a roster spot.

NFL scouts today make high six figure salaries.

Each team only gets seven draft picks not including compensatory and picks from trades.

Anyone on the roster during training camp should be expected to be good enough to try and earn a roster spot. If we were a Superbowl champ team, then yea our roster should be strong enough that no UDFA has a real shot.

Washington isnt there and hasnt been for a while.

YOu do realize,

Joe Jacoby
Tony Romo
Warren Moon
Kurt Warner
James Harrison
Priest Holmes
and Wes Welker

were all UDFA right??

Do I think we should be counting on UDFA to make roster, no. Do I hold them in as low esteem as some folks? Not at all.

I dont have high expectations. They were UDFA for a reason. Part of that reason being a finite number of draft picks through the entire league. But IM also not going to just assume that a team that was picking #2 over all can afford to write off anyone before training camp has even started. And there is also a reason besides just camp bodies that these guys do get brought into training camp.

More recently, I believe current Commander Pro Bowler Jeremy Reaves, Quinton Dumbar, and Lorenzo Alexander (also a pro bowler, I believe), were all UDFA.

You don’t expect an udrfa to make the team but some of these guys scores certainly are worth taking flyers on
