b/c there is not proven player at the position. Thomas is a huge wild card.

Its the players choice if they get multiple offers. Moss probably got other offers but signed with us b/c of our TE situation. He was better off by not getting drafted. He should make the team if healthy. Im sure there was an offer to Bryant from Washington also. I think he signed with Detroit.

Perhaps Moss did. My point was more toward Bryant. I am guessing we didn’t even offer. He did sign with Detroit but if we had offered, why would he choose Detroit?

Im guessing we offered to Moss first an he accepted. But Bryant had to be the backup plan if Moss turned us down.

Just guessing based on what happened - the Skins were looking for a blocking TE (Moss) in the draft/UFA and are looking for a veteran to be a receiving TE - and they might already be targeting someone in particular.
