I have a question. If Geno is so damn great a basketball coach, why then not coach the men where he can make substantially more money? Why hasn't Georgia Tech been after him? UNLV?
Damn you ancient son!
So old. So damn old.
2 knee surgeries and a shoulder surgery already.
And spiritually I'm the 65 year old get off my lawn guy. LOL
oh you're that guy huh? lol
Pretty sure I've been the GOML guy since I was about 15. lol
I do have a small mix of 16 year old in me as well. probably 83/17 split lol
The commercials pumping it up were better than the game.
Also.
It's absolutely brutal watching a women's team trying to mount a furious comeback in the last few minutes.
Just gonna throw this out there....
UConn won this game hitting all of 5 shots outside the paint.
That won't happen again.
I thought ND was "big" too
They are.
Turner is one of the best post players in the entire country.
no, I just meant, they are big, you would think uconn wouldn't be able to get so many points in the paint
UConn wasn't running traditional post up sets for the most part.
A lot of cutting. Some dribble drive. A few rebounding chances. etc.
But it was really about floor spacing. The way the NBA has changed, they play it more like the women's game. Just with much better athletes.
It is pretty funny how women's basketball there is Uconn.... Possibly ND and then.............. basically nothing, unlike the mens game

Bottom line is there just isn't the same amount of talent available as the mens game.
I know. I still find it funny. I mean I've helped my buddy recruit in the High School level for a college team he used to coach for and the talent was there... (women's team)
