My guess is the movement on the line indicates a shitload of peeps were taking ucla and the points.

I'd say (in reality) we're clear underdogs in this game.

Huskers will of course fight and win anyway.

The spread follows the wagering.

It opened at Nebraska -4 (NU favored by 4) and people were betting Nebraska so they raised it to -5 to try and get money flowing back to UCLA. They then raised it to -6 to get money flow to the UCLA side. Once they got money flowing to the UCLA side they started lowering the spread -6, -5, -4, to now -3 Nebraska, which is where they have even money wagered on both sides.

Vegas doesn't care who wins or loses or by how much.

The losing better pays a scratch.

A $100 bet costs $110, $200 costs $220, $300 costs $330 etc..
