I would like to see these kind of games get locked in...no more bailing out a year before. like a&m with USC and a few others. once agreement is made should be set in stone

Michigan has a home and home scheduled with Arky and a tentative Jerry Bowl game scheduled with Florida....

There is no fucking way UF steps outside the state of Florida for a regular season OOC game. Ain't gonna happen....

I'm not saying ND is great, but at least ND was able to play for a title during the BCS era. Also not sure why you think I was taking a shot at Michigan because I wasn't.

I hope were still independent in 9 years.

Why? It's time the Irish join a conference. Come to the Big 12. You get to keep your NBC network....

Michigan adds UCLA 2x, to a decent list of OOC opponents over the next 10 years which includes Utah 2x, Arkansas 2x, VTech 2x, ND, Oregon State, BYU, Cincinnati, UCF and Florida (tentative). Not too shabby.

Oregon State WILL travel anywhere, anytime...But what the fuck? No UM to Corvallis? Gawd damn last time I checked me Beavs have gone there, but NO return trip(s) from you scUM, EVER. Why is that?

Yeah, yeah I know, we can't beat you so why bother...beginning to sound like the SEC elite if you ask me, same thing goes for those bastards. We will keep coming to your place, why bother asking for the curtousy of a "wrap around" @ this point.

I "EXPECT" a different result soon enough.

I believe either Wisky or MSU (or both) tried to schedule a home and home with Bama but someone backed out...

I think Alabama backed out of a home and home with MSU. We have a neutral site game (Dallas) with them in 2015.

Michigan has a crap OOC schedule and always have except for one or two years. They have relied on the ND game to be their "big" game. Now they need to find more top teams but I cant see what they have now as any "tough" other than FL.

When was the last time Ohio St had a good OOC game? 2008? Michigan played the two teams who played for the title last year. I'd say that is pretty good.

OOC games are just going to get tougher with more conferences going to nine conference games. Until the polls start penalizing teams, it won't change. The SEC has proven they don't need to play anyone to get the respect.

Even though now they are playing no better defense than any other major conference in the country.

They have also proven that when they do play someone they can get beat.

Now they're thriving on offense - or is it that their defenses now suck? Of course the SEC will just convince everyone that their offenses are so good that their great defenses can't stop them. That's just a bunch of hot air until bowl season, then we'll see just how good they are.

Well, they couldn't stop Clemson or Miami. Did they play anybody else in the Top 25? I don't think so.

Yeah, but winning that last game of the year trumps a lot.

Where are the SEC/PAC 12 games? They don't play any bowl games against each other, it's a travesty there aren't more match-ups.

Using one year as your "proof" does not work. Take a look at what tOSU has scheduled OOC in the last 10 years and the next 10 and compare.

Last 10 years: Year - Opponent - Final Rank

Ohio State:

2003: Bowling Green - #23
2005: Texas - #1
2006: Texas - #13
2007: USC - #2
2008: USC - #23

Michigan:

2005: Notre Dame - #11
2006: Notre Dame - #19
2007: Oregon - #23
2008: Utah - #2
2012: Alabama - #1, Notre Dame - #3

Looks as though Michigan's as a whole has been tougher.

I agree with this. There needs to be at least one bowl game pitting the SEC against the PAC. Maybe Saban refuses because he doesn't want any part of Oregon's hurry up offense? LOL

The ACC prides itself on having bowl games against all the major conferences starting in 2014. In 2013 we will play the PAC and SEC in bowl games only, besides the middies. I figure we'll probably draw a Big 10 or Big 12 team in the Orange Bowl, too, though.
