USC baseball head coach Frank Cruz has been terminated for knowingly violating NCAA Countable Athletically-Related Activities limitations within his program, Trojan athletic director Pat Haden announced today (Feb. 13).

Those CARA rules restrict the number of hours student-athletes can spend in activities directed by or supervised by the coaching staff.

That kind of schedule is required if you play in a shit filled conference like the BIG. RPI plummets once you get to conference play.

Very true. After the first 4 games we go down to our old friends the Texas longhorns for a 3 games series in Austin Feb 22,23,24. Would be really nice to sweep them or leave 2-1.
