Imagine her being really good and having to actually tackle someone. Would the player against her just run her over or feel sorry for her and just run out of bounds?

The money was worth it just for the opportunity. It sucks that she was injured so early in the process, but more than likely she will be back next year. The world of athletics has gone through a drastic change over the last 2 decades and women are showing that they can do a lot of what the men can do.

I personally don't believe that a woman can play a regular position on an NFL team at this point but, having watched the pro woman play, it is possible that down the line you could see a woman make that leap. A kicker will only be the start and eventually that will happen.
