It was a couple weeks ago, but I just saw the news that T-Bones is shutting down after tonight.* Sold to a local restaurant group that primarily caters to douchebags and Bros (capital B intentional).

*Don't know if today is the last day totally, because they announced it's their last Friday, so they could be open a few more days.

That really sucks. Other than me apparently not knowing which lake it is on, it is always a *must* visit when I go there.

Wasn't a fan of the Presidentancy but he did a good job of it.

I struggle to think of any major policy point that I agreed with the man on, but even still I can respect and honor the character and integrity he carried his role out with. And it's times of reflection like this that underscore how far we've fallen.

Wouldn't it be a better comparison to Secretary of State than President? When did Canada's last Queen die?

If anything, PM would probably be the equivalent of the House Speaker but because the US president is both the head of state AND the head of government he is indeed equivalent to a PM in the Westminster system.

Also, the fact Canada isn’t a republic is a farce.
