They were saying the only reason they brought him up at this point in the season is bc Duffy got hurt. But they wouldn't of called him up at the point he they didn't think he wasn't more than impressive. It is hard making your debut, but to do it at the end of the season with the team having playoff implications, is daying they were calling him a future ace long before this start.

I noticed he threw his fastball 75-80% of the time. He also had a slider at 94 MPH, he couldn't locate to good but it had movement. His curve las in the low 80's high 70's and it actually wasn't bad at all. I didn't see him throw a change-up much, but I'm pretty sure he has one; so don't know about that.

He had a very good performance against a very good fastball hitting team. The Indians the last 10 or so have started to hit better again and were on fire in Chicago. But he seemed like everything they hit wasn't solid except a few. It had to be Ventura's fastball, bc they started hitting again once he went out. Either the late breaking movement or velocity of his pitches were better than I thought. We will have to wait and see but I think KC has an "Ace" on their hands.

Thank you very much for the scouting report. I have used such reports with great fantasy success before, and hope to again.

As of November, 2012, Oakland had experienced 115 killings that year, with 4 considered "justifiable", such as in self-defense or officer-related killings.

Boston had 52 that year.

I can't imagine the city-wide panic.

As there now seems to be 2 Indians fans in our midst -

The Indians are trying to create a playoff atmosphere in Cleveland, and not just at the ballpark.
The club is encouraging fans to "show their Tribe pride" on Thursday by wearing Indians gear to work and class, according to a club news release. Entering Wednesday a half-game behind Texas and Tampa Bay in the crowded American League Wild Card race, Cleveland returns home Thursday for four games against Houston and two against the White Sox.
The Indians are also inviting fans wearing Tribe gear at their offices and schools to tweet pictures to @Indians using the hashtag #TribeTown. The team will retweet and share those photos with its followers.
According to the team, a limited supply of $10 upper bleacher tickets remain available for most of the Indians' six remaining home games. The Indians entered Wednesday ranking 28th in the Majors in attendance this year, drawing an average of 19,435 fans per home game -- more than only Miami (19,267) and Tampa Bay (18,553).
The Indians are seeking their first postseason appearance since 2007, and several players have noted how much of an impact their fans can make down the stretch.
"That extra man is a good push to have," center fielder Michael Bourn said recently. "It gets your blood flowing a little bit. ... We try to give them a good show every time they come out."

:L Another Patriots fan that thinks the NFL started in 2000. Bernie Kosar was a pretty good QB, would have been a great QB if he had stopped running into Elway in the playoffs.

how the hell did that ugly fuck kosar produce hot daughters?

Your question deserves a question.

How many star players, in any sport, marry dogs for wives? MAYBE 1%?

Therein lies the answer.
