Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight will reportedly be playing for a new team in 2016.

According to SoonerScoop.com, Knight, a junior, has been granted a release from his scholarship by coach Bob Stoops. He's scheduled to graduate at the end of the semester and would be immediately eligible in 2016 for his new school as a graduate transfer.

I like the guy, but he's just a terrible Quarterback.
He's Jeckle and Hyde. You never know which guy you're getting.
His performance in the 2nd half of the TCU game was off the charts bad. It looked like he hadn't practiced, put any effort into it, and didn't want to be there.

He didn't help himself with that performance, but some team will pick him up even with what they saw with their own eyes.

Are OU fans concerned with Stoops recruiting of QBs? I guess if Allen tranfsers to OU that buys him more time, but can he live off transfers forever? This isn't trolling, just wondering if that's a concern.

I hope Riley can do it.
Wasn't long ago that we had Blake Bell and Trevor Knight.
And we couldn't decide which one to start????

Austin Kendall, 4* out of North Carolina, is supposed to be the real deal and will be on campus soon. He's a December grad so he might be here in a month.

I think it's a fair question. But he did recruit 3 heisman finalists didn't he? (Heupel, White & Bradford). Two of them won.

This seems to be a recent thing.

But getting Mayfield and then Allen is nice to buy time.

Knight would be a good fit for any team who wants a running QB. NC State wouldn't be a bad fit.

Ya Bell definitely was but just watching these 2 kids I'm talking about, they look to both be much more gifted passers at this stage and much better fits in this system.
