You'll have 6 open spots in 2020? Wow that is alot. He's gonna have to land a transfer this year or a grad transfer next year I'd guess.
It may only be 5.. but still a lot

I don't see him getting drafted, but that hasn't stopped hundreds of other guys from leaving early.

Exactly.

So many guys just want to get paid. SOMETHING.

I think Norvell probably will. Less sold on if Tillie will come back. Tillie has much more options than Norvell does.
If Norvell and Tillie come back, I think Gonzaga is still a top 10 team.

But will they?

I think Tillie just might. He tweeted that he missed his guys today. He also got hurt during a workout. We’ll see.

It’s funny, when I read that norvell declared they seemed to really emphasize that he was planning on staying in.

He seems to fit in really well in Europe at least. Or China.

I think he just said he was seriously considering staying in. Not planning. Could be wrong though.

I never know with these kids.

It was just reported more aggressively than most guys testing the waters

Iowa out for the Hausers. It’s gonna be fucking Wisconsin unless Bennett’s tune has changed with all the NBA defections.

Marquette got Jayce Johnson. Doesn’t move the needle much at all. But eliminates our size concerns which is huge

I heard from a buddy with some connections that Fran told Joey he would've handled the shit that went down exactly like Wojo and that put an end to Iowa . Not surprising though . Fran is the only one on the team who gets to act like a jackass

Damn that was Fran that said that??

In that link I posted the other day it made mention of a coach doing that.

I assumed it was Bennett(maybe Izzo). Because Virginia was the team they immediately reached out to.

Shit maybe multiple coaches told them the same shit.

Fran would not be the right coach for a mental midget like Joey tho. So probably for the best. Y’all can use your 500 schollies for 2020 better

This year is huge . Another decent year and we should get a great class for 2020 especially given the likelihood Foster signs . He can hopefully help recruit some of the other highly rested guys Iowa is in on

Looks like he’s staying in. I don’t think it’s the right move. One more good year, and he could be a first round pick. He’s not likely going to get drafted this year.

There are SOOO many kids that are going to go undrafted this year and end up playing in bumfuck middle of nowhere countries for relatively low money when all they need is another good year of college ball to increase their draft stock . Even if this same kids don't get drafted next year they'd be in a better negotiating spot with those teams with more college recognition and accolades

He was invited to the combine. That’s a good start.

True. I just think the inconsistency he showed all year is hard to overlook. I’m not sure he put together 2 solid halves all season.

Weird list if he's transferring to be "the guy" somewhere

If Coffey does leave I could see him being our leading scorer if he came to Minnesota.

Just seems odd to leave a pretty guaranteed tourney team time go anywhere where you aren't pretty much 100% going to be the number 1 option . I was just assuming he was looking to raise his profile . There are reports he was really being outplayed by Frederick in practice so maybe thats part of it.

Would give us two players who shot 40+% from three last year and another one who shot 37%. I'd take it. Stiff competition for him though.

Moss plays hard and at his best he's all American caliber but he's very inconsistent . 30 one game then 8 combined in the next 2 type deal . If he goes somewhere and really brings it all year he could be the best grad transfer of the year
