Sounds like Dolphins WR DeVante Parker could possibly be an Eagle soon. A lot of trade rumors on WR's this year ... both Broncos Emmanuel Sanders and Deymarius Thomas are on the trade market as well as Amari Cooper from the Raiders. Interesting to see how our receivers do against Carolina this week ... it could ultimately determine if we make a move. Would live Emmanuel Sanders as as Eagle.

Just based on what we have seen from Parker and Cooper thus far I would rather it be the other way around.

Parker just never impressed me. Amazing size and talent coming in....but he hasn’t done much. Always a chance that natural skill and size could work here.

But it would rather have Sanders or Cooper....possibly even Thomas for the year or two he has left.

WR isn't the Eagles biggest need.

I wonder how much it would take to rescue RB David Johnson from the football hell which is Arizona by the trade deadline?

Nothing Howe does will surprise me. A stud, ala DJ makes the most sense, especially when we get Hollins and Wallace back, they are as good or better than Parer, IMO.

If their asking was a 2nd and Howie has been resistant to this point I get that. If he were to continue to be resistant to this price I don’t think I would be cool with that.

Really though....if the price were a second all along for a proven talent already locked into a cap friendly deal for a while I think Howie would have done it. I could hear the press conference where he says while future draft capital is important this is the kind of player you spend it on.

Based on that thinking I don’t think Arizona is talking back to anyone, unfortunately.

They need more things than they can fix with trades at the deadline frankly. But I think the biggest need is safety, followed by running back.

Totallly agreed on this. My thought this morning is that any secondary help by trade would be most optimal. We cannot fix all gaps with trades, but we can work on the most important parts.

Burn the lines for Peterson, or even Conley.

Give a 1st and a 2nd for Patrick Peterson, David Johnson and a 3rd. Problem solved. The DB's get better, and you have a RB that you can count on to close out games.

I'd hate to give up a #1, especially we will probably draft in the middle of the 1st round + 2 #2s. If Peterson was in his mid twenties, I'd be OK, but isn't he near 30?

We need that 1st rounder next year for a LT ... Peters is done and we need to protect Carson first and foremost.

Dude's a true lock-down Corner, but he is also 28 ... so maybe he could be had for less than a 1st

I'd give up 2 #2's, not this year, but 1 this year and 1 next year.
