I always want the team to win, but if resting Calvin this week benefits us for the rest of the stretch to the bye then oh well. They will certainly have a hard time with the Pack n Lambeau without him, but I think they would still have a hard time with him.

I'm just pissed off that right before the biggest game of his career, he's sits down. He's struggled for two seasons straight now. Every week we ask "Why don't they throw more deep balls to Calvin!?" Starting to wonder if maybe he can't run those routes anymore. At his age, he should be dominating the league, not looking like he is past his prime. I cannot possibly be the only one incredibly frustrated by this.

Would have been nice if he played in the second biggest game of the regular season against a division rival and rested against Cleveland and Cincy and even Dallas before the bye if necessary.

Not thrilled with this move. I would not trade him, but this seems a bit over the top to sit at this point.

Scheffler straight up makes this team worse.

I feel your pain Robbase, but he has been this whole team for so long. I hate the Pack but I can live with one loss and a healthier CJ for the next three games to the bye. Those three are all winnable and we sit at 6-2. Who knows maybe we still win? The coverages should be more traditional without Calvin which means if someone steps up we may actually get a few deep plays. Love that kook-aid!!
