Tox, Sly, and Clarkson

Are they all gone? WTF happened? I read somewhere they were, but I can't piece it all together or find the threads that talk about it.

I'm gone for a couple weeks and you guys let the place go to shit!!

I'm kinda surprised. Clarkson was one of the nicest guys on here (especially when you consider his handicap of being a Devils' fan. Tox was a mod. And wasn't Sly the top poster in all of SportsHoopla? Craziness.

I'm not trying to challenge the admin/mods or anything with this. Just a little surprised and wanted to know if they were actually gone or banned or what.

From what I gathered, apparently Tox blew a gasket on the new owner of the place claiming he ordered a tshirt and never got it or something, so he got booted, then Sly and Clarkson jumped in to claim Tox was a good poster and shouldn't get booted and they wound up getting kicked out as well. I dont get involved in the political stuff and the only time I get a PM or send one has to do with walking dead spoilers or trade discussion for the league. other than that I dont try to get too deep into arguments if I get threatened to be banned for being friends with this person or that well Ill deal with it then but I dont even stray outside the NHL board so I keep out of trouble

Yes, unfortunately they are all gone. The Tox thing was farther reaching than just the t-shirt issue but I won't elaborate on it other than to say that I was very surprised and disappointed to learn all that I learned on it.

Sly, Clarkson & SuperFlyer all blindly supported Tox even though they they didn't know what had all transpired. It would have been best for them to gather all information first before being so openly outspoken. It was almost like a dam had broken & the ensuing gush of water had to be contained. Sly originally left on his own, he may have been subsequently banned afterwards though. SuperFlyer was cut loose in the middle of his rants & Clarkson left a thread on the general discussion board that was very uncharacteristic of him on his way out. He was banned shortly after this post. I will put it up for awhile and then take it back down so that you can see for yourself why he wasn't let back on. Regardless of how he felt, as a mod, he can't say stuff like this.

Haven't been around much A few days still processing what's going on. Don't know what happened with Tox but I now him A lot better than Most here and he is A good man. Honestly I think this was a personal dispute that could have been handled a lot better That said there are A few things I would like to personally address. This is not easy for me I view quite a few of you as family. You've all meant the world to me. Take this all for what you will bit bear in mind I follow a code and will always fight for what I believe in.That said

Exactly, and like SFNL said people make judgements without knowing the facts. I learned a long time ago that's never a good move.

I just want to get back to talking hockey and other sports with the good OT topics and not need to worry about having 15 PM's from people wanting the "inside" information that I nor most others don't have.
