Any thoughts on who the top QB prospects are this year? Just from what I've seen and minimal digging, I am leaning in this direction. Any names you want to add in?

1. Watson
2. Kaaya
3. Falk
4. Kizer

I have Kelly as 5th and Mayfield is off my radar- I don't really think much of him at all as an NFL prospect. Puzzled that some swear by him as a prospect. Kizer was uber-impressive last night. He might be the new Cam Newton if he repeats last night from now to January.

Not sure I would rank him top 5, but an interesting guy to watch is Patrick Mahomes of Texas Tech.

I don't follow the college game too much, but from what I hear, the 2017 class is a weaker one for the QB. True? It's obviously a top priority for SF.

If Kizer keeps playing as well as he did last night, I think the narrative changes some. I'd say there are only two 1st round worthy guys atm with a chance of Kizer being a 3rd. The others i am not too enamored with if someone is looking for a QBotF.

To me, none of the QBs listed so far look like an NFL QB. This is looking like the 2013 draft class.

Was conservative where I ranked Kizer- but I was very, very impressed. He'll probably be the #2 QB prospect within a month.

As an ND fan I'm probably a little biased, but he does have the size, mobility, arm strength and accuracy. 6'5, 225, just has the feel of a top QB prospect.

I watch a little, but this past weekend I saw quite a bit.

Obviously this can change, but right now the top of the draft QBs...DeShaun Watson, CLEM, a dual threat QB in the vein of RG3, but better field awareness. IMO, like most dual threat CFB QBs he will have to learn the NFL game...I can see Kelly really liking his skillset and fitting his scheme., but the ROI won't be immediate.

Brad Kaaya, MIA...this would be my pick. Pocket QB, that can run, Richt is a pro style coach. Tall, big arm, but thin...needs to gain about 15lbs or so.

My 1st time ever seeing him vs TX this weekend...great arm, field awareness...I think he will definitely play on Sundays...if I had to compare him off the one game...Dak Prescott....with maybe a better arm.

That said...with him likely to split time with the other QB, do you think he'll be a top 10 pick?

Depends on kelly. Fanbase here thinks it's his job.

If so. He is a top 20

Kelly looked good for about a quarter and half last night then went to stupidville, starring down receivers, and not managing the clock very well...

Josh Rosen will be a first round pick If he enters the draft.

Pro style system with a big arm. Throws for a ton of yards.

Can't declare for the draft for another year, I believe. He's a True Sophomore.
